This memoir represents for me a written trace of my course in my first year at school, a witness who recalls all my activites, my tastes, my discoveries, my desires … It is important that this memoir is rather definited to keep a memory, realistic and descriptive, but especially personal to allow a detachment, necessary for an evolution. This first year is a continuity of the last year, because I was in preparative school. These two years are surely the most important at the moment, because they gave me a desire of discovery, and a constant need of initiation. I think i’m lucky to be in this school, in numerous and various workshops, who allow us not to plunge only into a single practice, but to experiment different mediums to enlarge our knowledge.

If I had to resume this year, I would talk about some important moments.

First, the initial training counted a lot for me. It was an opportunity to better know ourselves, and to do some personnal work. For example, I worked about wandering : a work rather conceptual and diagrammatic. I focused on the report between the sensitive and the intelligible, linked to my own sensations. I wrote on a card the space-time on my wandering and of my day-dreaming. This project is important for me, because he allowed me to leave a real track of my memories. This small trip to Esparron made me understand that I had to liberate my work, and I especially desired and needed it. Next, I will talk about the volume work-shop. I especially appreciated this workshop thanks to the personal project that the professors wanted us to do. In fact, I followed this project in continuation, and this is my true first personal work that I was able to set up, from its conception to its realization, the only master of my ideas, and the only to make them being real. The workshop painting. A moment of unexpected pleasure. I discovered, I felt comfortable and I forgot my modesty. I always appreciated painting ; as an art fact, obviously, but I never tried it.

If I had to talk about my personal progression, I would say that we forged our personalities and our way of thinking thanks to encounters, discoveries, sensory shocks, moments of poetry... The world that surrounds us has a big influence on our manner of thinking and our evolution. I try to catch the least occasion to learn. I try to be as a sponge. I construct myself little by little, I accumulate a knowledge that makes me be stronger. Even if I am never satisfied, I persuade myself to believe that it is just the beginning and that I have long years in front of me to improve and to ripen. I test, I learn, I evoluate.
